The barebone is a relatively new methodology in the building of the personal computer system. A barebone system provides a pre-assembled combination of several basic components that a computer system must include, and leaves room for DIYers to select the important components which may be upgraded more frequently.

You'll usually get a case with power supply motherboard and cooling system, and the rest is up to you. Occasionally you'll also get a CPU or some RAM, but more often than not, those are ready for you to customize. Add CPUs, Audio or Video Cards, RAM and Hard Disks, and build the system you want!
