Cons: This mobo was manufactured AFTER 14th gen CPUs came out yet it doesn't have a BIOS that supports it. There is zero way for this board to get a bios update without a support CPU. Why did I buy ASUS again?

Overall Review: I can't recommend a product that ships out of date and doesn't allow for an easy remedy. BEWARE if you are using a cutting edge CPU.

Pros: Latest hardware.

Cons: Same issues as others have reported, USB peripherals randomly disconnect, and when I try to use the PCIE5 slot for my 4090 GPU - I receive a code 12 from Windows device manager. Asus Support, any answer as to when the drivers will be updated accordingly???

Overall Review: Would not recommend, unless Asus addresses the above issues for me.

Cons: The motherboard has USB disconnect issues. It will randomly disconnect all USB devices and then reconnect. I tried updating the BIOS, all sorts of combinations of settings and even 2 windows 11 installs... it does not resolve the issue.

Overall Review: If this motherboard work, it would be good... but bad stability issues is not good.

Overall Review: I have had a long relationship with Asus products and would generally recommend them but I can't recommend this board. There are severe compatibility issues with this board and windows. I used both BIOS versions available and neither had a change. I ended up doing about 7 or 8 fresh windows installs trying to resolve issues with no avail. Windows 11 hates this board and drivers do not want to be recognized. Even after successful driver install I had multiple BSODs and many common programs would continually crash to desktop with no warning. Other than the motherboard the rest of the system was built with known good parts. The previous build they were in had no issues at all which leads me to believe that it's the board. I'm not sure if I just got a faulty board or if this is a true issue with this series. Either way, I've already requested an RMA and ordered another board from a different manufacturer.

Pros: Looks cool

Cons: BIOS and manual are not informative. Support is impoverished.

Overall Review: I have 16gbx2 RAM modules rated at 5600 and the ASUS manual instructs you to install these starting at A2. So with 2 sticks, it instructs you to install at a2 and b2. Does not work. In fact, it only works with 1 stick of ram installed in the b2 slot. Sent it in to RMA, they claimed customer induced damage. Ok. SO I buy a new board, same exact board. Still the same issue. I took pictures of my board to prove I did not damage anything. There is nothing on the ASUS support page to help with this issue. I've verified on ASUS's PAGE that my ram and cpu (i7-1700k) is compatible with this board. I've even replaced my ram twice and the cpu to make all this work. So to recap: 2nd motherboard, 3 set of ram and 2nd cpu. When I called it into ASUS support, there wasn't much effort. Have you reseat your cpu? Yes. Have you disconnected all parts and ruled out those parts? Yes. Have you reset CMOS and BIOS? Yes Ok send it in for RMA. This has been a nightmare process.

Cons: Had it for less than 6 months before it just stopped working one day

Overall Review: Horrible reliability, get any mobo besides asus.

Pros: This seems like a good board. It has the things I need in a good build. I am impressed with the non-gaming features.(USB 3.2 - 3 M.2 slots) I also like the dual CPU features 12th & 13th gen. compatibility.

Cons: I can't find information on compatible hardware. The problems started when I tried to register the motherboard. Asus first doubted that the serial number I supplied was valid. I have taken pictures of the tag on the box and the order from Newegg but have received nothing 3 days later about registration I cannot, therefore, find QVL info. I have installed a Intel i5 12600K CPU and cannot find information on compatible RAM for this board.

Overall Review: I might recommend this board if I could configure it and try it out.

Overall Review: Its a fine board, and you dont really need the shark fin antenna if you have any kind of low profile alternative. My only issue is the RAM which it fully supports XMP profiles for list is really convoluted and kind of limited. The first thing I did was update the BIOS and on using the most popular Corsair Vengence RAM I cant enable XMP without the thing boot looping on me. Which is a real shame. Otherwise it works as advertised. I have another build to do in the new year, and I will probably avoid ASUS for the main board.

Pros: Looks good, but arrived DOA!

Cons: It doesn't have a heat sink for the other 2 M.2 SSD.

Cons: After the initial install and during the setup, it can't find the LAN or Wireless Internet. Contacting ASUS, they want me to remove the board and send it to them as a RMA. I have found the problem in ASUS Forum, but their fix does not seem to work - HELP.

Overall Review: Using it together with 13600k, running win 11 without any issues. There was only one hiccup during the initial startup which was resolved by resetting CMOS. Good & relatively cheap ddr5 z790 board

Overall Review: Just built a new system with this MB paired with a 13700K CPU and 7000D Corsair case and I haven't had any issues. To be fair I'm still rocking a 2080 as I wait get a new card at MSRP. Windows 11 installed with no issues for me, but if any issues comes up I'll be sure to update.

Cons: - It's not actually a real ATX form factor. It's cut down just enough that the front edge doesn't quite reach the ATX standoffs. There seems to be no benefit to this, and it has some definite downsides of making the front edge flex when connecting cables, particularly the main power cable. - At this price point, having a flimsy separate backplate seems like a very cheap move. Some of the metal bits got in the way of the ports too, and the only good way to make it fit well was to break them off.

Overall Review: This is my first Z790 board, but I feel like there have to be better options at this price. No, I would not recommend it.
