Pros: I was able to boot with a i7 14700 out of the box which surprised me. I was able to update the BIOS with an "unsupported CPU" out of the box. Board manufacturing date of 2023-04 so BIOS wasn't even close for 14th gen CPU support.

Cons: Can be a pain to get into BIOS, but could be the delay in my monitor so I can't truly fault the mobo for that. I don't know if it's the mobo or the other accessories, but the RGB connectors are very loose but again will not fault the mobo for this because I'm not sure.

Overall Review: Wifi 6 2.5 GB LAN (if only I had a switch / router to make use of that)

Pros: Excellent bord so far, now that it works.

Cons: The one con I can think of is if you plan to use it with an Intel 14th gen CPU, it won't work unless you first apply the BIOS update, and to do so you need to boot with a 12th or 13th gen CPU first to be able to apply said BIOS update.

Overall Review: I would recommend that motherboard, but just be aware of what your are getting into if you plan to use it with a 14th gen CPU.

Pros: It's a basic motherboard. Has all the stuff you need, and doesn't have stuff you don't need. ASUS RMA process is pretty quick and painless. They don't need receipts and pictures like Corsair does

Cons: I did run into an issue with the DIMM_B2 slot, contacted ASUS to RMA it, and got a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement also had a problem with the DIMM_B2 slot. Memtest86 confirmed the issue with both sticks tested in A2, and both tested in B2. Not sure if it's a manufacturing error with this product, or if i just got unlucky.

Overall Review: Recommended if you don't get unlucky with your DIMM slots. When it works, it's fine

Cons: MB does not make it past windows startup as it does not connect to the internet, wired or wifi

Overall Review: On my 3rd return now, don't bother with this. Not worth the hassle.

Pros: Boot with a 14900KF and a SuprimX 4090 straight out of the box.

Cons: Installed and activated Windows 11 Pro. System rebooted a few more times, now it refuses to boot anymore. Haven't tried resetting the CMOS yet. This is ridiculous. QLED lights indicate problem with "VGA". Tried 4090 in another system, works fine. Haven't tried another card in place of the 4090, however I only have an air-cooled 4090 to try. I suspect this motherboard isn't fully 14th gen compatible, isn't fully 4090 compatible, and also doesn't pair well with the 196GB of DDR5 6400 RAM I bought for it. It won't POST with XMP enabled. Not worth debugging all the issues, I'm returning this board for a more higher end model.

Overall Review: You get what you pay for. My old AM4 ROG Hero Wifi board is a much better board at twice the price, has a better debug indicator a built in power button. Much easier to work with. With all the reviews about this board saying that it will fail without warning and the compatibility issues, I'm not going to spend time debugging it, it's just going back to newegg for a refund. Not worth messing with.

Overall Review: So, first time getting an ASUS mobo and first time it would not post / power up. Pretty LEDs, but no bueno. Called product support, who were super helpful in making sure we did all the usual troubleshooters, then said to return it to place of purchase, since it was dead.

Overall Review: Perfect in every way as long as you research exactly what you want out of your computer once it is done. If you do not want a MOBO that costs 325+ then you cannot do better than this TUF board. Honestly, I miss the days that when you got your system built pushing the power button was an event. I don't even believe in fairy tale higher power but there was still a few times I prayed that the system would just boot to the BIOS.

Pros: -Worked well when it did for around 3 weeks -Enabling XMP in BIOS was easy

Cons: -Died after around 3 weeks, I didn't overclock or mess with any BIOS settings apart from XMP -Did not post with a 14th Gen processor despite it being advertised as being compatible with 14th Gen.

Overall Review: Seems like this motherboard can be hit or miss, as some other users have mentioned it dying on them after a while. The description states Intel 14th gen however if you have a KF series without onboard graphics it won't post. I had to buy an older 12 series cpu to update the BIOS and then it worked with my 14700KF. Overall it's running fine so far with no issues.

Pros: It really is a decent board but..

Cons: The first one I had out of the box had a bad PCIe slot and I couldn't use one of the m2 slots either which makes sense that both would not work. It took me quite a long time to rule out drivers, bad video cards bad hard drives.. because of the frustration and inconvenience of having to wait and extra couple of weeks for a replacement I can't give it more than a three.

Overall Review: I got it for a good price for cyber Monday, but at full price it wouldn't have been worth the frustration.

Pros: - Worked like a champ for about 2 months. - Beautifully design mobo layout - Simple to install

Cons: After 2 months it suddenly stopped working. Aura lights light up, but system wont turn on / POST. Q-LED indicators are all off. Verified CPU, memory and PSU are all functional on a spare system I had. Opened an RMA case with ASUS and things quickly went off the rails. First support person I called said they would send me a replacement mobo, once recieved I had 14 days to send mine back. Ok cool... I waited a few days and checked the RMA status. It said they were waiting on me to send mine in first? What??? So I called again, this time they tell me the first person got it wrong and that is only for advanced replacment otherwise I have to wait to send mine in, for them to recieve it and evaluate the isssue and then they may repair it or send me a refurb after that. This is my main PC so waiting that long is a no go. So the support person helps me setup an advanced replacement where they will send me a refurb but in order to do so they need to put a hold on my credit card. I can understand that and agree, then they check inventory and realize they dont have any refurbs to send me! I ask them why they dont just send me a new one, but the support person said they cant do that, they can only use inventory in the support warehouse. So now I have to wait for a busted mobo to get fixed, put on the shelf as a refurb and then get it sent to me? Come on ASUS I expect better. Ive always been loyal to your brand but man this is really making me rethink what vendors I want to trust!

Overall Review: TUF brand is supposed to be superior components, but failing after 2 months doesnt build confidence in that. RMA process needs a revamp, I shelled out a lot of money for this board, the least you can do is get me a working one again ASAP.

Overall Review: Decided to start from new on my old rig which was an asus z170A board. So far no issues other than the dram one i kept getting at boot up. If u looking to upgrade or start a fresh budget build this is the motherboard u should get. Tons of m.2 slots.

Pros: handles my RTX 4090 video card and that's what's important like Armory Crate software

Cons: First board was dead on arrival Second board was problematic - wouldn't boot into windows directly; had to select HDD in Bios to launch - wouldn't identify second M.2 HDD Cramped and congested lay out

Overall Review: Great look, easy set up. My son picked this for his first build, and was very excited with it when we pulled it out of the box. We have been cautious in tweaking settings but so far very stable.

Cons: The onboard LAN never worked. I contacted ASUS tech support and after troubleshooting I was informed the issue was the board. I simply returned to Newegg and they were great to send another board. Same issue. I returned for a third time and still no working onboard LAN the 3rd time. I followed all instructions via ASUS and could still not get the LAN to work. This included updating current BIOS and drivers already downloaded prior to install. The built in WIFI worked great but I would like a LAN connection. It was easier to simply install a 2.5g card instead of building the computer for a 4th time. Google the LAN issue. It is real.

Overall Review: Love the board and features but the built in LAN would be nice. PS Newegg folks were great....outside of their control.
