Arrived promptly but doesn't work in Synology NAS

Bought for a Synology DS220+ NAS. The RAM didn't work. Attempted to return but the seller's policy says no return and eligible for warranty only through manufacturer. Bought another from other online seller instead to save time, same specs but different brand, and it worked fine. No way to test this item in other devices as I have none that take it.

Proactive seller with outstanding communication

Ordered this SDRAM in order to overclock my vintage iMac, works perfectly. Seller communicated with me prior to accepting order to ensure that I was ordering the correct size and type. Thats incredibly proactive of them for customer satisfaction, although the time it took to communicate back and forth before they accepted the order did delay shipping slightly. Some may have found being questioned to be annoying but I found it refreshing. Many thanks to an outstanding 3rd party seller that is actually paying attention to orders and customers. Would buy again.

No, I would not recommend. This experience has left me totally confused, especially the use of independent vendors through Newegg. It's a rabbit hole experience. I've written off my experience and money loss. Your' just too difficult to deal with. Extremely annoyed with the ridiculous surcharges for retuning items... Waste of time.
