We started out as a small part-time computer service for family and friends, but as the demand for computer services and computers grew, HiTech Bay was officially launched as a company in 2007. What began in a spare bedroom of a home turned into a small warehouse. We currently operate out of a 20,000 square foot facilities in Canada and USA. Now, we refurbish and re-certify over 4000 systems every month and the demand is growing 35% annually!

Refurb Lenovo mini tower - Excellent

Perfect for my home file server application. I purchased it to replace my old (crashed) file server with mechanical hard drives. It was very old (32bit). Using a recovery disc - I transferred all my old/accumulated data and archived emails (many years worth) to the Lenovo's SSD drive with no issues. I also had backups on USB - but they weren't necessary in this instance. I did want to make sure the Lenovo was able to run Win 11 - which was preinstalled. After cleaning out Win 11 bloatware - the Lenovo i5 - 16GB is very fast and capable for my particular application.
