Last time I bought one of these must have been for an AM Socket 2 CPU. Was about 2/3rds the size of this one for AM 4. It fit in the new case by about 1/2" and gets barely warm to the touch when the system is running. Lots of heat dissipation for sure.

Overclocks the GPU and CPU with ease and has more than enough cores to do whatever you need. I have this in an ASRock x300 with 16gb of ddr4-3200 (SODIM) ram. I absolutely love it. I had a 3400g before, which is still a good APU, but is light years behind this. I actually just started using this as my main CPU because it works so well.
