My Dell XPS 9343 Charger stopped working. This is not uncommon as the cable frays over time. I decided to replace it with a USB-C PD charger and an adapter cable. I am glad I made that decision. This cable is sturdy and works perfectly. The Dell XPS is very particular about compatibility. The cable communicates to the Dell that it supplies the proper charging voltage. If you use an incompatible cable, the battery will not charge. Some words of caution. If your original charger is 45W, then make sure you are using a 65W PD charger that is capable of providing 20 Volts. If your original is 65W or more, use a 100W PD charger.
