it does what it's suposed to do, power my gigabit switch
Nice little cable, using only 1 plug instead of 2
Delivers power all ten feet
Great price. Of course Newegg shipped it practically the same minute I ordered it.
the length was what was needed
Superb quality.
This basic cable gets 5 eggs for the simple reason that it was in a plain coil. Not folded or squeezed up so that it would not lay straight. I hate cables and cords that end up with permanent kinks and bends in the wrong place or don't wrap up cleanly because they were stored incorrectly by the manufactures. Bonus points for the plain zip-lock bag packaging.
A must have quality replacement for a PC if you need one. 14 AWG is the way to go , because the construction quality is much better.
Runs and charges a 2012 MacBook Air using any USB-C PD adapter that is capable of 20V/2.3A (45 watt or higher), and 2017 15" MacBook Pro with a more powerful adapter (85 watts or higher). The cable reports itself as an 85W MagSafe adapter (see screenshot). Definitely does what it says! Not all similar items do :(
