-Excellent for gaming; don't need more than the 6 cores -Runs cool for me, I see people saying it's hot, but I have just a 240 AIO water cooler and it never goes even to 85C, really never past 82C in Handbrake, Cinebench, Prime95...but that may be because... -I pushed a -30 all core undervolt, and it's stable through everything, maybe got lucky with my silicon -Boosts to the 5.3ghz as advertised and stays there for a LONG time, sometimes will hit 5.5 for a few short bursts.
Super easy to install and fool proof due to the AM5 Socket construction. So far, this CPU has outperformed anything I have seen in any game that I have played since I bought it 3 weeks ago.
Great Cpu runs warm but hasn't seen it work hard has lots of head room..
Good power!
Class leading gaming performance. High single core and multicore speeds.Best power efficiency in the market. Intel 13900KS uses almost triple power to achieve similar performance. It boosts to 5250Ghz on CCD0 which has the cache vs 7800X3D which can only boost to 5050GHz. It helps in games.
good processor, one of the best on the market,
Very good gaming CPU. Very efficient and performs well.
Exactly what i needed to get my PC built. Great price to performance as of Oct. 2024 Great gaming chip for cheap.
Fast enough for me. So far so good.
Luckily I like spending time tweaking my CPU. My benchmark scores and framerates really did not go up until I dialed in a good Core Offset, tuned the memory beyond EXPO's auto settings, turned off Core Isolation in Windows, downloaded Win 11 update KB5041587. I have not tried Win11 24H2 yet, and I am not running this with any version of Linux. Compared to my 7950x, I have way more throw with the Core offset. I can dial in a Core Offset beyond -25 with the 9950x, whereas my 7950x gets fussy when I try a CO beyond -5. The 9950x also doesn't run as hot.
-Faster core speeds than 5700g -3D Vcache -higher cache than 5700g -lower temps
This processor is absolutely blazing fast. Nothing short of an artificial load really seems to get close to making it sweat and it feels like it is truly ahead of most processing power requirements. Paired it with a Maximus Z790 Dark Hero, 96GB of G.Skill 6800MHz, and an RTX 4090. I have mine tuned with TVB allowing up to 6GHz and a max TDP of 300W. The whole build runs things like Stable Diffusion at incredible speeds and runs 8Kx4K VR super smooth. The key to managing these chips is to make sure you tune your BIOS to make sure it does not apply excessive voltages which could cause damage, even if not immediately apparent it can become a cumulative thing. They have no business exceeding 1.5V short of record overclocking attempts and exceeding 1.6V can be immediately damaging. I recommend trying to keep voltages to 1.45V or below for assurance of longevity.
Single-Core and Multi-core performance are amazing. All other than gaming is freaking fast.
Not expensive as it was half year ago. Affordable. Running cool and smooth.
- fast - not expensive - easy to install very quiet stock heatsink/fan
Upgraded from 12700KF and you can really tell the difference. Everything runs at full blast no hiccups. 4K Gaming Ultra, Heavy Video / Audio Editing that gets an advantage from powerful CPU and GPU
super fast
I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3500 and this Processor really rips. It even helped to boost my Video as well.
Arrived on time Easy to install Good performance
Latest 12th generation intel CPU with graphics onboard. Will replace CPU + PCIe graphics board at much lower cost! Update: I am not a gammer. The graphics component of the CPU outputs pristine Hi definition video.
