Fast and works great, it was easy to install and the new Intel cooling fan is quiet.
Great price Included CPU fan is good enough
- Decent clock, cores, and threads for a budget build
Great multicore performance (outperforms many past gen i9) runs super cool (under 70c in CB R23 with a Scythe Mugen revB) in a CM NR200P
Runs cool, great price to performance ratio. Runs couple of games smoothly. Multitask is also good
Got this on sale and couldn't be happier. What a performer, for a midrange processor. Quad core w/hyper threading. For someone on a budget, grab this bad boy, you won't be sorry. Highly recommended.
Low Power consumption Awesome Temps Great IMC Powerful E Cores
working good on my rebuilt rig
So far so good. I was particularly happy it came with a fan and the fan did not need extra mounting hardware on the motherboard. Very straight-forward processor install. Has been running at constant 37C/100F. Not used as a heavy duty gamer but would probably want more sophisticated cooling if I were to do heavy gaming
-Arguably the fastest all-around CPU you can get at the moment -Plenty of cores -Mine has hit 5ghz, stable -KF variant is unlocked and slightly discounted vs the regular 9900k (just no iGPU, which could be a benefit in the long run)
I'm using it since 4 weeks now, and it works as expected. Paired with and appropriate motherboard, you can unleash the full potential of this CPU, even if it's a locked sku. My ASUS mobo has a "performance mode" that allows the different components to work at higher voltage and frequency that is recommended by Intel, all that being managed by the BIOS, it's totally safe and within power and thermal limits. This sku being an F version, there is no integrated graphics, so I cannot talk about it. Franckly, whoever buys that kind of CPU will invevitably buy a high-end graphic solution anyways, so.
RELIABLE FAST GREAT
Processor works as advertised. I have a feeling that there will be a fix soon for the gaming with either a windows or Bios update.
