Lorex DVR D841. Power down, remove original 2TB drive. Place this 8TB drive into the chassis, connect, power up - verify storage - done. An easy upgrade. Smooth - no unexpected issue.

- This is a very high quality HDD. - It offers more cache than the WD Blue or WD Black drives. I usually go with WD Black in my builds, but I decided to give this drive a try with my most recent build. So far, I like it. - This drive should offer higher reliability (MTBF) than WD Blue or WD Black drives. - It is completely silent when mounted in a drive cage with rubber bushings (Fractal Meshify C). - There were no issues in terms of being recognized by my Asrock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard. - I bought this drive because I wanted a highly reliable and responsive storage HDD for my personal computer. I do play games, but I also do actual work with my computer (MATLAB, GUROBI, Mathematica, etc) and I typically keep these programs and the files they use on my storage drive. This drive appears to be performing quite well for those purposes.

This is such a quiet drive 5 cameras record 24/7 and it doesn't bat an eye

-Great capacity; -Price is good; -Quiet; -Lower power; -Low heath; -SATA 6Gb/s; -Does what it's suppose to do so far.

Name Brand, only 1 drive has failed in the last 4 years out of 150-200 drives installed. Def recommend.

Preforms as expected.

Have had it for 3/4 a year with no problems. This paired with my motherboard can boot 8 in 1 second. I get closer to an actual Tb than other drives.

I have been purchasing Western Digital for over 20 years and only had one problem, Western Digital took care of it.

very easy to install has worked without issue has been quiet in operation

Solid HDD for the price(Black Friday)

We use these drives in all our surveillance systems. High capacity, reliable, and inexpensive.

I'm sure this is a great drive, the specs are awesome.

Great drives. Ordered 8 and all 8 are working perfectly. They are fully compatible with the Synology Nas DS720+ Dual Bay Drives. I contacted Synology Techs and they recommended these drives even though they are no on the compatibly list. Synology says these are the max drive size for the DS720+ drives.

5-yr mfg. warranty.

Picked these up on Newegg on sale. I was a little skeptical at first because they said OEM, yet in the description they said 5 year warranty. When I got the drives I verified the serial numbers on Seagate and they have a full 5 Year warranty Got them very fast.

It's a great big hard drive It was on sale!

plugged in, has worked for the past two weeks. No overt warnings about excessive bad sectors
