I took an older i7-7700 cpu machine with a AMD RX-570 GPU (1 HDMI 3 DP ports) and installed Manjaro (Linux) on it. I have a primary ACER 32" monitor running at 2560x1440 60 MHz perfectly and a secondary 50" Vizio TV I struggled to get running at 3840x2160 at least at a minimum of 30mHz. I tried all my old DP to HDMI cables/adapters but none of them worked on the Vizio, in fact the even the HDMI to HDMI cable would not work on Manjaro with respect to the Vizio monitor. The best resolution I could get on the Vizio 50" using a kludge cable setup was 640x480. I bought this Aubeamto adapter 6 days ago from Newegg and installed it a few minutes ago. Within a few seconds I had a perfect 3840x2160 at 30mHz on the Vizio... I then went into the Manjaro (Linux) settings and changed the refresh rate to 60 MHz. Voila! 3840x2160 at 60 MHz, no flicker, no edge light bleed, no problems, perfect image. This install from my mailbox to completion took 10 minutes. Hooray for me. And for Aubeamto also.
Awesome cables that work as described! Cables are really well made and the braiding on the cables gives them a real solid feel.
