I use the drive for running the Raspberry PI4 and it is faster than the micro chip. Pretty much plug and play and easy to load the OS from my main system.
Beautiful design. Big storage space. FAST. Reliable. Easy.
Plug-n-play, no separate power brick required. Very fast with USB-C port. Amazingly compact for a drive of 4 TB size. Well made and good looking case design. Packaging is very sturdy.
Goes fast when pluggued at the right place. To acheive high speed you need a USB 3.2 gen 2x2. See the image. Solid case. Well ! for lights lovers , there is a dance of colors.
Been using the T7 Shield for about a year. Replaced one of my high-capacity 7,200-rpm hard drives that died after years of service. Bought the 2TB size / plenty of space for my needs 256-bit AES encryption is at the hardware level so the data is protected and the drive is fast USB powered, no external power supply USB-A and USB -C cords included Samsung Magician software is good for password access and providing stats on the performance and health of the drive Take it with me everywhere, small and light, rugged with non-slip coating Mirror it to other external drives for data backup in case it gets lost or stolen
Easy set up. Secure if you want it to be. No moving parts so it should last longer and take rough handling better.
Small footprint type c to C connector for faster speeds. You get good speeds for download and upload I was doing 1049.80 read speeds and write speeds are right up there with it at 1047.99 when you first open the Drive you'll see shortcuts one is for a Cronus clone so you can back up your drives and restore them using this drive.
This drive is less expensive than its closest competitor, is overall a good value for 2TB of storage (especially given that internal 2TB SATA drives, which you might also consider if you have a desktop, are not that much cheaper and limited to 550MB/s). It's twice that speed (well almost, see below). It's also very small, and includes a Type C cable (although it's quite short - you'll probably want a longer one).
This is my second Samsung T7. The drive is highly portable, highly reliable and I love the speed of the unit. Having 4TB available silently, anywhere is convenient. It will be interesting a year from now to see if I feel the same way. I have purchased a shock proof case for it since it doesn't come with one.
Small size and protective case
Super Fast
I got this drive for my iphone and my pc backup. Very, very fast and easy to do.

The Crucial X9 is surprisingly small, measuring 0.3 by 2.6 by 2 inches (HWD) and weighing a mere 1.5 ounces. The X9 features a minimalist black plastic case adorned with the Crucial logo. It offers good value for money, especially considering its large 2TB capacity (and it also comes in a 4TB variant). Additionally, its 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption adds an extra layer of security. The X9 includes a USB-C port, and a cable with USB-C connectors at both ends is included. fast at 1.35 Gb/s
