I had a gen 11 i5 on asus with ddr4 ram and replaced it with this. It worked flawless. I do not regret getting a board with ddr5. This is gaming better than i expected. I am happy that it will take pcie5 video cards. If the nvidia 5070 ti is not priced crazy I will drop that in here later.

Built out a new PC after 8 years replacing ASUS with ASUS and love the new motherboard so far. Performance is great, and everything looks really well made.
I went with this Motherboard because it had all the features I needed/wanted and the black aesthetics as you'll be able to see with the system I'm building. The quality of this board is absolutely perfect, that's another reason I went with MSI as they have been around for a long time. Everything was pretty easy to install and get everything going/working, with this board, just do your research before hand to make sure you do not have compatibility issues and read some instructions. You can find out all the info on the MSI support site. So, I have only had this running for a short while and I have no complaints. I will update this once I have used it for a few months, other than that I am a happy MSI customer.
This is a very good motherboard and has just enough RGB to make it noteworthy. Easy to setup and everything worked. Enabling XMP memory was one click. I especially like the power on by a ps2 keyboard, any key. The configurable RGB lights stay on when the computer is powered off, making for a nice tech night light.
Worked with the core i5 13600k with no BIOs update. I used a LAN line for the setup and it worked flawless. Plenty of connections of all types for fans, peripherals, etc
This is my second one. The both work very well. The first one with an I7 13700k with Win11 home, that I use for video editing, with newer software, is very fast and I get great videos. The second one for an I7 12700k. The ten year old video software, from an I7 960, now renders a 2.5 gig file in five minutes as opposed to thirty minutes previously.
Everything just worked right out of the box. 12900k Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600mhz. Squeezed this build into a Phanteks Eclipse 200p ITX case. Plenty of room. EVGA SuperNova 1000w gold power supply, ASUS RTX 2070 dual mini graphics card. Arctic liquid freezer ii 280 cooler. VRM Fan built in
Started right up without issues
Rgb has plenty of room for aio and GPU many many options in bios for CPU and memory
Everything is working well except the network port. It worked once or twice, but the wireless connection works every time. Obviously I prefer to use the wired connection because it is faster. This is a major annoyance.
- extremely sturdy - great built on heatsinks - solid state components in the TUF series
I had a Gigabyte Z690 motherboard on my iBuyPower gaming PC, but I was encountering a lot of issues while gaming, such as the mouse or keyboard not responding, the ethernet connection failing, and microstuttering and crashing of games. I replaced the power supply and memory, to no avail. I even reinstalled Win 11. I finally just replaced the motherboard with this one, and all my problems went away. It feels so good to just have everything working like it should, and I haven't had any issues. The connections were pretty much identical to my Z690 board, so it was an easy swap.
I have bought 3 of these now and all have worked right out of the gate. I think this is the best motherboard currently out there that supports DDR5 ram without any issues.
Asus quality and good price for it's features. Intel ethernet and WiFi II are super fast on Windows 11 Pro.
My motherboard purchase from new egg was very good. The board was new in a sealed box with all parts and worked perfect for my son's new build. I tried purchasing a board from Am-a-zon. What a disaster that was. First time they sent me an opened box, likely used board. Returned. Secured board was DOA and wouldn't turn on. New egg was a way better experience.
-As of October 2024 purchase, it came with BIOS version 3/26/2024. It recognized the Core i3 14100 processor without any issue. Didn't need to put a 12th gen Core processor in to do any BIOS update. -From the above bulletpoint, my box had a "Next Gen CPU Ready" sticker on it probably to indicate it has the updated BIOS version to support 13th and 14th gen Core processors. -Compact size and has Wi-Fi card already included. -High quality -2x ARGB 5v headers for your LED lights -Integrated video output if you don't want to add a dedicated video card. (VGA, Displayport, and HDMI)
* affordable * Good performance *Easy bios upgrades *Linux compatible *Does it's job *Two nvme ssd slots as well as a pcie 4.0 port. One of them has a heatsink called "thermal guard" as it's brand name to keep your SSD cool. But it's not the best thermal guard and you have to use it if you want to have two ssds. *Ethernet port * Very small, but not too small which means it fits extremely well with a micro ATX case.
