- Works with 7950x - Installed a Mugen 5s cooler with no issues - Looks good with an all black build - Good BIOS - Was able to run 128GB of DDR5 RAM at 4400MHz (RAM rating was 5000MHz) by increasing RAM voltage - 2.5G ethernet - Everything works well
VRM's are better than b350 Tomahawk. Board looks way better than pics . heat sinks are massive. Fan headers all all over this board. plus RGB headers. 2 3 pin RGB and 1 5 pin RBG header. M.2 slot comes with a heat sink saves $ there.
Setup was quick and easy. Feature packed. So many little things that are just convenient. Didn't feel like I was running out of space at all. In fact there's plenty of room to grow with this board.
Works well, easy to set up. No complaints on the hardware.
Smol footprint. Perfect for cube computer!
My motherboard purchase from new egg was very good. The board was new in a sealed box with all parts and worked perfect for my son's new build. I tried purchasing a board from Am-a-zon. What a disaster that was. First time they sent me an opened box, likely used board. Returned. Secured board was DOA and wouldn't turn on. New egg was a way better experience.
-Good Build Quality -Well though out PCIE Lane design -Good BIOS
This Board has all the modern features you want and is aesthetically pleasing. Finally a board with enough onboard M.2 slots.
Great motherboard for my needs. Running fast memory on pci 5.0 and ssd and video cards on 4.0. Default over locking cpu from native 4.6 to 5.0 with no noticeable heat gain. No buggy drivers. IMHO rock solid purchase
Found on sale for a decent deal and does everything I need it to.
- Built in Wifi/BT - Built in I/O Shield - Sufficient rear I/O - Premium looking heatsink shroud - Preinstalled M.2 screws is super convenient - Shipped with latest BIOS version - Two M.2 slots + 4 SATA ports for storage
I just rebuilt my Desktop PC using the Asus TUF Gaming B50-Plus as the heart of the new system and, to this point (been running 24x7 for 2 weeks) it has provided everything I could have asked for. Three M.2 drive slots (and I use all three), plenty of IO options as well as ample fan and ARGB headers. It was compatible with my Ryzan 7800X3D out of the box, without the need to update the BIOS. And it has been stable from the first power on. I went with the 650 because I don't do a lot of overclocking, but, I wanted support for DDR5 RAM<, more than 2 M.2 drives and a host of USB available. This board does not disappoint. I highly recommend this motherboard.
-Plentiful BIOS options. -BIOS profiles are saved after CMOS jumper reset -Lots of power stages for CPU with giant heatsink (the entire thing by the I/O in the picture is metal) -Lots of internal headers and back panel USB ports -No USB dropouts -Four PCIe slots! It seems like most vendors are going for the 3+ M.2 slots on their mATX boards while sacrificing one of the x1 slots, but I far prefer more PCIe slots for future expansion. Plus, an x1 slot can still be used for an M.2 adapter card.
Expo ram oc Enough m2 sockets Relatively future proof Has a slot for wifi card
1. Best solution for the PCIE 5 lanes (dedicated to the gpu and m2 nvme) 2. 5x m2 nvme slots (1x gen 5, 3x gen 4, and 1x gen 3 which disables the bottom x4 slot) 3. Excellent wifi 7 package( Mediatek MT7927 + Sticky antenna)
- Solid B550 design - Pairs beautifully with Zen 2, Ryzen 3xxx, 4xxxG, 5xxx - BIOS designed for stability, still allows manual overrides - Remote management - PCI slot. No, really. It has a PCI slot. - PS/2 keyboard & mouse ports + USB2/3.1/3.2 + a USB-C 3.2 gen 2 port - Both NVMe can run full lanes b/c there are so few PCIe slots (& can also do PCIe/SATA) - PCIe 4 (based on CPU, some only do gen 3) - VRM's are high quality, don't need coolers - 1x CPU fan header, 2x case fan headers is adequate for a basic system - Dual DP + HDMI - 4x DRAM slots - LPC Dx and IC bus headers - M.2 WIFI Key E slot hidden under the 1st NVMe slot. You'll need to mount antenna connectors on a PCIe slot or case holes, it's not in the ATX I/O.
Great Service. Great Product. As Advertised.
Lots of high bandwidth USB ports, 3 PCIE slots (if you need them) and good UEFI updates as the AGESA gets updated.
This replaced a 14 year old computer. I have been building gaming PCs for 22 years and I used to build them for a company who sold them so I have built/seen a lot of gaming components and I have watched the industry evolve, and simply put the PC gaming industry is amazing now. The layout is very thoughtful. The heat sinks are heavy duty. It has PCIE 5.0 with NVMe and wow both are lightning fast. It has plenty of SATA ports. Plenty of USB ports. It has 2 extra PCIE slots for adding cards. The BIOS is highly customizable and you can use a mouse. It has all kinds of options to tweak everything you could ever want to including the fan curve for PWM fans. It looks good, is solid, has plenty of room for expansion, and everything is well laid out and spaced with thought. I have no concerns that this motherboard will last a long time. By clicking on EXPO setting 1 I was able to get DDR5 6000 out of my overclocking ram, which is the max setting it supports and the system is very stable.
-As of October 2024 purchase, it came with BIOS version 3/26/2024. It recognized the Core i3 14100 processor without any issue. Didn't need to put a 12th gen Core processor in to do any BIOS update. -From the above bulletpoint, my box had a "Next Gen CPU Ready" sticker on it probably to indicate it has the updated BIOS version to support 13th and 14th gen Core processors. -Compact size and has Wi-Fi card already included. -High quality -2x ARGB 5v headers for your LED lights -Integrated video output if you don't want to add a dedicated video card. (VGA, Displayport, and HDMI)
