Synology has a great product here with the DS1821+. I am able to run a container plus Plex. I have a DS918+. Setting up backups and communication between the two was very straight forward. I wa running a computer with TrueNAS full time, the power draw was pretty high. This unit maxes at out around 60 watts full load. I understand there will be a new version coming out in 2025 but this one meets all of my needs now.
