I've worked in data centers and have done data center build outs for the last 12years. I'm a big fan of plain open racks like Chatsworth makes. But the powers that be always want cabinets because they believe they will look better. If you have to buy a cabinet get the APC. It has superior cooling compared to its competition and the removable nut system assures that you won't end up with a cross-threaded useless portion of the cabinet. There is also ample room in the back of the rack now for power stripes/etc. These new cabinets are REALLY deep.
