Works as expected
UPS batteries are heavy, so when free shipping is offered, it is a big plus.
Great price, especially with free Shoprunner shipping. You can print a free return shipping label. See Other thoughts.
My previous battery lasted 5 years. Securely packaged with thick foam. Hot swappable.
These batteries replaced my worn out ones in my Smart 1500 Watt UPS by Tripplite. They went in easy and I had no problems.
At least triples your UPS battery run time.
fit as expected
quality, fits exactly
No issues with grass/dirt as some reviewed. I received ones made in India (not China). Batteries were at 96% at initial start up. Works as expected - installed with PowerChute PE 3.0.2 (upgrade in itself for Win 7 64-bit).
Remove the cover from the APC UPS , one screw needs to be removed, and the batteries can be exchanged while the attached users are in operation. No need to turn anything off as long as the power is available from the 110 V source.
Exactly what we needed and fast shipping
I replaced the battery in one of my several APC UPS units. This particular unit is several years old (5+). It has been my experience that APC replacement batteries last longer than others brands.
It works. It came fully charged (APC's literature made it seem like it would have to be charged for 6-8 hours before running self-test.)
Got here in 2 days. Put it in and it is working well so far. Got 7 years of continuous use of the one it replaced. Hope to get at least this long with these new batteries. Came in at 85% charged. After plugged for an hour it went to 100%. So, no issues.
Exact fit.
Excellent OEM batt
It does what it says. I have a few of these and I checked them out with a multimeter and this thing holds a steady 120VAC while the circuit it's on is subjected to rigerous varying demand. I don't know if I'd use this in a commercial environment but it's good for home use. I would especially recommend if you live in an older building, a home where the power situation might not be perfect, or have high power demands on a particular circuit. I use to have lots of issues with electronic devices dying over the years in appartments I lived in. A year, maybe two, on components that, given their light to moderate use, should have lasted much longer. Especially powersupplys. I started litering these things and their bigger more expensive cousins over my house and devices stopped dying. I even put this behind a 300watt AB powered subwoofer and noticed a huge difference in output (analog amps love clean power). SmartUPS works for a PC, but most put these on the other elec devices!
