- can shutdown my computer after some time on battery. - Can power my 300W system for ~1H - silent operation - web GUI to monitor the system - installed agent popup a warning when power is lost. - warranty is for 3 years
Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.
This battery backup has everything I needed to protect my system. I have my 24" iMac, multifunction printer (in one of the surge protected outlets, 4 external HD's, speakers and modem/router all plugged into it. It offers true sinewave output, which I am happy about as much of the data for my business is on multiple hard drives that I do not want damaged. I use really large files for images for my design business and if they get corrupted due to power surges I am ruined. Again, this UPS makes me feel much better about leaving my computer running all the time and not worrying about a surge or the power going out for a few minutes while a file is writing to a HD.
- Thin profile and modern design - Full featured, including USB charging ports - Front access battery compartment for easy access - Right angle plug to fit flush against the wall - LCD screen, really nice functionality - Alarm mute button right on the front - Cooling fan
Good battery backup at a good price
***An updated after several months of usage, and a change in score to 5 stars as I've learned more about the unit. Buried in the software which is run through your web browser, is a setting to turn down the sensitivity on the incoming voltage which fixes my major con of this unit for me, the unit toggling between ac and battery constantly. *** Very straight forward to setup, the units interface is fairly intuitive to use. Provided me with roughly 30min of power for 2 computers, I7 7700K with a 1080ti, and a I9 10590XE with a 3080, a boat load of SSD drives between them, lots of peripherals and 3 monitors. No blip in the computers performance when switching between battery and ac driven power. Online web interface for real time monitoring of the unit is a nice plus, can send you email reports when issues arise with the unit. Clear instructions to position the unit in it's final resting place before you connect the battery. This style battery shouldn't be moved around once it's connected.
-web interface for management -email alerts -can do both web interface and USB for safe shutdown of computers or NAS
Pure sine, double-converted online output is the best. Enermax specifies real sine wave (not simulated sine) UPS' for their Infiniti and Galaxy PSU's and the SU-series do it well. It's quick switching to battery power when AC is down and the software works. Can accept external batteries for increased runtime. Internal heat sinks are nice - keeps things cool should you happen to use full 800 watt capacity, but most PC's never use that much even at full tilt. I have an o/c'ed E6600 & HD2900XT, 3 HDD's, 2 opticals, etc. and the output LED's haven't gone past 50%.
1u slot and shallow. Works great in my 2 post rack. Since I have purcashed this I have yet to have a power outage.. go figure. Dont use the cd, go directly to the manufactors website and get the latest business edition software. Powerpanel Menu is very easy to use and understand
Works good so far. Power outage this morning, wasnt on the computer but booted it up just to see and everything worked fine. Good UPS for low power system. 4 battery backed up outlets, and 4 surge suppresed outlets. Would purchase again.
This thing has severed my glory for years and would recommend it. Being a computer technician, i know what i want and what i need and this device fits multiple uses for various equipment.
Many things in menu, runs silent most of the time
