This works beautifully for plugging a USB-C cable into a USB-A power adapter. It let me continue using my in-wall power extender (4 outlets + 4 USB power outlets, 3 USB-A but only 1 USB-C) when I suddenly had 2 devices that needed to charge using USB-C. Used this adapter to plug my new USB-C phone into one of the USB-A power outlets and all is still good! (Can't say the same for the USB-C to USB-A adapters from another vendor - the Hannord ones work great, but the ones from the other vendor charged exactly 1% overnight.)

The reprobates at Dell on myself and my wife's two Dell Inspiron 5593's come with 100mb/s Ethernet ports not gigabit. Since I have an outside UPS for gigabit+ with fiber optics coming into the house. This thing is a no brainer. Plugged it in ran 140' of Cat 6 in the house. Boom better than 5g spectrum on my wifi router.
