- Sturdy design feels solid in hand. - Flexibility of both USB-C and USB-A without adapters - Compact but easy to handle if you have to reach behind computer or awkward angle port - Plastic caps snap securely - 1TB at this speed/price is a great value - Speed test: - MacBook Pro Thunderbolt 4: 1570MB/s (write), 925MB/s (read) - USB-A 3.1 Hub (peripheral): 621MB/s (write), 325MB/s (read) - Windows 11 USB-A 3.2: 452MB/s (write), 465MB/s (read)
It does what it's supposed to.
Fast transfers, quality construction, cheap.
It's tiny. they make it look big in the ad pictures but it is very small. It works as advertised with fast transfer speeds. I got it free with my digital cash back coupons too.
Lots of USB and card format interfaces. Cables were long enough to reach the USB connectors furthest away from the unit on the motherboard. LED light far less irritating than I've seen on other card readers.
Everything
Works well enough. I have not had any issues with inconsistency.
Fast formatting Fast sustained throughput using my cheap usb adapter for testing 87MBs write / 96 MBs read comes with SD Adapter card
still in package
Fits camera/laptop/etc. Off-brand, but hey. Probably comes outta the same Chinese factory as SanDisk, etc. NewEgg sent 'em via "rocket" delivery. Thanks guys.
The construction of this USB stick screams QUALITY. It's got a metal case, which also acts as a heatsink. Very sturdy. Having both USB A-type and C-type connectors is great. My older machines don't have USB C. Really like the compact design. It's no larger than it needs to be. No moving parts that will prevent use if they break.
Red over gray design is much faster, just don't flip it around :P
No need to hack into a system, using the card adapter makes using roms way more easy. Roms run like a dream, absolutely no lagging so far with the 20 games I've tested.
