Runs every single cpu amd has to offer out of the box, web support is superb and easy to access, runs my expo profiles with ease. Performance comparable to a $210 board.
1. It looks good. 2. It works well. 3. It's very fast, and all components are cool during gaming sessions.
Overall the board seems very good. Good heat sinks on nvme m.2 slots. Larger sinks are put on the gen 5 slot also. Lots of headers for fans, rgb, usb, and sata. Usb 4 ports on back are nice for a touch screen monitor using one usb-c cable, and seem fast for external nvme drives. There is also a 30 watt usb-c port which is handy. All the external ports are 10gbps, except both the usb 4 ports are 40gbps, and the ethernet port is 5g. The wifi 7 works great as does the Bluetooth also.
This is a great combination for my needs. Went to this CPU on a recommendation from my computer tech son. Upgraded the CPU cooling from the stock unit and moved up to 32GB memory then went with a GTX 1660ti. I do light gaming, bookkeeping,, Lightroom and Photoshop work. This is a excellent combo. Great service by the way. Thanks
Great Documentation
You need a modern pci express 3.0 graphics card or it will never boot (unless you are using on-board video) Trust me you really want to do defaults in the Bios. also update the Bios. Very fast and stable Motherboard, I have 3 of them, also use a Thermalright AM5 SECURE FRAME AM5 CPU holder unless you want a bent motherboard. normal boot time is 20 seconds to windows
- Sturdy, quality construction - Built with overclocking in mind - Large heat sink (probably overkill) for PCIE gen 5 M.2 SSD's
So far, so good. Easy to install and manage plenty of cable connections around the board. Worth the money.
- Enough space to handle a Noctua NH-D15S cooler and still retain usage of the first PCIE slot. - Easy to get drivers through Armoury Crate (look under 'tools' not 'updates') - Came with a SATA cable
