The adapters were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and they both work as expected. The best part is that you get two of them, so you have a backup in case something happens to your other adapter. This works beautifully for plugging a USB-C cable into a USB-A power adapter. It let me continue using my in-wall power extender (4 outlets + 4 USB power outlets, 3 USB-A but only 1 USB-C) when I suddenly had 2 devices that needed to charge using USB-C. Used this adapter to plug my new USB-C phone into one of the USB-A power outlets and all is still good! (Can't say the same for the USB-C to USB-A adapters from another vendor - the Hannord ones work great, but the ones from the other vendor charged exactly 1% overnight.)

It just worked as advertised. Connected a WD Blue SSD and plugged it into a usb port, and was recognized right away. Plugged it into a usb-c port, knowing it's not a usb-c cable, and still got 350 MB/s speeds.

For some laptops displayport will not produce audio through it only video but I can say for my Dell Latitude E6410 and this converter you can successfully get audio and video using the converter and an hdmi cable to a tv works great.
