Works as expected and I'm getting 10gig connectivity
I was pleasantly surprised, when seeing that with all four DIMM slots full (4 x 32GB), the system was still able to run completely stable with both timings and frequency unchanged, with stock voltage, from when running only a single kit of 2 x 32GB. It wasn't long ago, that it was common to accept, when filling all available memory slots, you would have to sacrifice either frequency, timing, or need to provide extra voltage. Stability was verified by 48 hrs of running Memtest 86+ vr 6.2.
This is a great product, with the lights and being able to see the Temp. of the system. I have had this installed for about a month and it is really quiet.
You no longer need a case to hold an external SSD hard drive. You just connect this adapter cable directly to your SSD and then plug it into the USB port. I use an external SSD to hold system backups Easy Peasy.
Super fast, easy install. Popped the cover off my new Samsung Ultra Book 7 and 10 minutes later I had 16GB of blazing fast RAM
These work well and don't feel super cheap. The pug ends are flexible enough for many configurations and applications with enough length between plugs to remain super useful. I'd recommend them for almost anything that needs power or for adding a little more length to your existing cables.
B + M Keying, 1TB at a great price. Dead simple to use. Don't know much about the manufacturer but their product works as advertised. Photos: #1: shows stacking of hardware and USB bridge. The bottom board is the 862 and holds the 2280 drive. #2: No SD card though not easy to see - because it's booting off of the 1TB 2280!!!! #3: Mounting of this drive hardware. #4: The nifty little USB 3.x hub that is nearly same size as the Pi - that hub is worth the buy for sure (New Egg p/n in the overall review)
Fast, reliable and a bargain when on special
Great cord. Purchased this to connect a 40 inch LCD TV to my computer's video card as a second monitor. While product was in transit, I managed to connect the LCD TV to my computer via a combination of an extension cord and a shorter standard computer power cord. Fortunately, when the product arrived I had to use it to connect a third ASUS monitor to my PC since the standard computer cord supplied with the monitor was too short.
The diamond shaped ring around the fan looks great in the dark. The fan is good for high pressure. Even the cord looks great.
7600mhz XMP working beautifully right out of the box. I am coming from the exact same mobo but Z490 10th gen. The old mobo had a sad I/O plate but this new rig is fully integrated and comparing the two makes me laugh, the old one looks so cheap. The wifi and Bluetooth are excellent, reaching across a big room to my DualShock controllers.
For some laptops displayport will not produce audio through it only video but I can say for my Dell Latitude E6410 and this converter you can successfully get audio and video using the converter and an hdmi cable to a tv works great.
I have a 4-monitor system, and my monitors don't support DisplayPort. So I needed to find a way to connect my fourth monitor to my EVGA GeForce GTX 670 video card. I use this StarTech DisplayPort to DVI adapter in conjunction with a Tripp Lite P560-010 Dual Link DVI cable to connect my EVGA GeForce GTX 670 video card to my ASUS VS247H-P LED monitor. I've been using this adapter for three years, and it has been working perfectly. The quality of the cable and connectors also appear to be well put together and of good quality. The latching feature on the DisplayPort is very nice so that the connection does not come loose. That goes the same for the screw holes on the DVI side as well.
