Specs: AMD 9700x Asus B650E - I Crucial - Pro Overclocking 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz C36 RTX 4080 FE 2TB + 1TB Crucial M.2 ID-COOLING Frostflow X 280mm Corsair 850 2023SF Series SF850 I have tried a couple of SFF cases, including the NR200. This Era 2 case keeps it slim, sleek, stylish, and easy to work with...more importantly, it performed the best. Keeps my 9700x (65w) and 4080 FE @ good temperatures with headroom. I think the key is going with a 280mm aio for better airflow and lower noise. I went with the ID Cooling X 280 and fits perfectly. The possibility to upgrade the 140mm fans to a noctua or similar performance could further improve temp performance. This was a quick and straightforward build, but plan your builds, measure twice, front panel cables are not very long, going with a non rgb device helps reduce management. This is meant to use AIO's, but plenty of choices if going with low profile air coolers. Going with single braided psu cables will also help, corsair sf 850w comes with it. Exclude using 2.5 ssd and omit the ssd cage for better airflow if build permits. I am very happy with the looks and performance of this case, Fractal really took it to heart to get the ERA 2 right. Is it perfect, nah, but is it good for the size. Absolutely.
King spec is hella cheap and really good I love thank you kingspec for cheap rgb 32gb ram!
This works beautifully for plugging a USB-C cable into a USB-A power adapter. It let me continue using my in-wall power extender (4 outlets + 4 USB power outlets, 3 USB-A but only 1 USB-C) when I suddenly had 2 devices that needed to charge using USB-C. Used this adapter to plug my new USB-C phone into one of the USB-A power outlets and all is still good! (Can't say the same for the USB-C to USB-A adapters from another vendor - the Hannord ones work great, but the ones from the other vendor charged exactly 1% overnight.)
Install was super simple on these. XMP worked perfectly out of the box and I never had to touch anything to get these 100% stable at advertised speeds on my Maximus Z790 Dark Hero.
EXPO for AMD. No silly lights.
Runs fast, very highly binned
Decent RAM under the hood (I got a dual 24GB kit at around 7200 MT/s, about as fast as you can run on Alder Lake without manual tuning) PLASTIC PEELS! This is a Huuuge improvement over the Royal DDR4, you can have plastic peels protect from fingerprints until it is installed in the slot! G.Skill has their own RGB software tool (if you are running Asus, MSI, Gigabyte or AsRock... this won't be a big deal. However if you are using an EVGA board where EVGA Eleet doesn't do DRAM RGB, it matters. It probably will also matter if you're on a less prominent brand like Maxsun or Colorful)
-Easy to install -Easy to clock at 6000 -Mystic light makes lighting effects easy to configure -Performance enhanced when Expo is enabled in the BIOS
I am getting the rated speed with this NVME in a computer I built for my wife on a b550 motherboard! If I get any life out of this item it will be a winner! With memory getting more expensive this is a solid purchase!
-This case is BIG, but makes the PC build process so much easier with plenty of room to navigate and move things into their mounting positions. -The top is slanted so makes it nice to keep clutter from accumulating on top of the case. -The option to horizontally or vertically mount the GPU is nice. Just be forewarned that if you decide to vertically mount that you will have to buy the riser cable. -Cable management is made very easy with this case!
I doubled my DDR5 capacity with this kit. Going from 16G to 32G has been great, and from there, overclocking has been a fun and interesting journey. Much easier and safer than it was to overclock in the 90s... The RBG lighting feature linked up easily with my MSI Mystic Light software, so it's a piece of cake to integrate with any theme. High speeds Affordable
It works and functions, No random blue screens or slow boots for no reason other than memory training. Getting a working motherboard is half battle when it comes to buying a motherboard. The Asus BIOS/UEFI is always a gem and fun to work with. The SP score feature Asus has been using for these last few years is always a fun. SlimSAS slot is useful
Pros: - Keeps my CPU below 34C when running demanding tasks (often idles between 26-30C - AMD A4 Ryzen 7) - Available in White (my case theme) - Easy Install (all tubing etc. was pre connected) - Very quiet - Excellent styling
I really was amazed about this motherboard . It had some purple on it and really had everything you would need on it including a start and reset button right on the board awesome!!
This review for ASRock review rebate program. Everything runs well and board is high quality with a good amount of connectivity.
Its perfect
Looks good, fans interlock with each other, easy to install and keeps cpu temps low.
