-Looks good -Low Cost -Great Flexibility -Great Airflow -Good Accessories and Hardware -Great Compatibility
- Thermals are great, because of such a good ventilation. - Manual instructions are clear. - Easy to build on it. - Build quality is good. - So many build setup options.
This case caught my eye immediately, and I wasn't disappointed after getting it. It's incredibly lightweight and offers great ease of use inside. The front panel features an LCD display, and the wiring process is straightforward. Despite having ventilation holes, the case remains surprisingly quiet. The included LCD display basically functions as a secondary monitor with clear and sharp video output. Wallpaper Engine runs smoothly, and the LCD program offers a variety of themes, plus you can create your own videos or animations. The power supply is mounted at the bottom, which I really prefer. Unlike other cases with LCD displays, this design enhances fan cooling.
Looks good. Easy daisy chaining and comes with controller.
Easy to build in. Decent options. Sturdy construction with all tool less panels. Able to fit larger PSU, GPU, and cooler Decent airflow.
- lots of room for cable management - easy to assemble and disassemble with no tool sides - Sides hold on very well despite no tool latches - Very versatile attachments for different size fans and radiators - love the tinted glass and wood look - Plenty of space for enhanced airflow - Second chamber has built in straps for cable management
Item came in very quick no damages 10/10 would buy again
Easy set up Gives rig a sleek look Good quality
Most cost-optimized heatsink-focused fan from Noctua. You get the SSO bearing, long lifespan, and precision manufacturing. The 1700rpm PWM version gives the most flexibility in setting your own rpms in BIOS. Not poop brown.
Specs: AMD 9700x Asus B650E - I Crucial - Pro Overclocking 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz C36 RTX 4080 FE 2TB + 1TB Crucial M.2 ID-COOLING Frostflow X 280mm Corsair 850 2023SF Series SF850 I have tried a couple of SFF cases, including the NR200. This Era 2 case keeps it slim, sleek, stylish, and easy to work with...more importantly, it performed the best. Keeps my 9700x (65w) and 4080 FE @ good temperatures with headroom. I think the key is going with a 280mm aio for better airflow and lower noise. I went with the ID Cooling X 280 and fits perfectly. The possibility to upgrade the 140mm fans to a noctua or similar performance could further improve temp performance. This was a quick and straightforward build, but plan your builds, measure twice, front panel cables are not very long, going with a non rgb device helps reduce management. This is meant to use AIO's, but plenty of choices if going with low profile air coolers. Going with single braided psu cables will also help, corsair sf 850w comes with it. Exclude using 2.5 ssd and omit the ssd cage for better airflow if build permits. I am very happy with the looks and performance of this case, Fractal really took it to heart to get the ERA 2 right. Is it perfect, nah, but is it good for the size. Absolutely.
Awesomeness
- Well built, quality materials and finish - Excellent airflow and extremely quiet - 3 x be quiet! fans are included (I purchased an extra one to direct airflow to GPU) - Tasteful design, not flashy - Includes everything you need, plus USB-C on the front header - Lots of room to route cables and hide things
