Bought this beast for my first build from scratch. It is spacious, well built, easily cable managed, gorgeous minimalist design, has excellent sturdiness, good array of front IO, and a sleek reinforced glass side panel. There’s plenty of room to build whatever you want inside and loads of room for expansion.

Specs: AMD 9700x Asus B650E - I Crucial - Pro Overclocking 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz C36 RTX 4080 FE 2TB + 1TB Crucial M.2 ID-COOLING Frostflow X 280mm Corsair 850 2023SF Series SF850 I have tried a couple of SFF cases, including the NR200. This Era 2 case keeps it slim, sleek, stylish, and easy to work with...more importantly, it performed the best. Keeps my 9700x (65w) and 4080 FE @ good temperatures with headroom. I think the key is going with a 280mm aio for better airflow and lower noise. I went with the ID Cooling X 280 and fits perfectly. The possibility to upgrade the 140mm fans to a noctua or similar performance could further improve temp performance. This was a quick and straightforward build, but plan your builds, measure twice, front panel cables are not very long, going with a non rgb device helps reduce management. This is meant to use AIO's, but plenty of choices if going with low profile air coolers. Going with single braided psu cables will also help, corsair sf 850w comes with it. Exclude using 2.5 ssd and omit the ssd cage for better airflow if build permits. I am very happy with the looks and performance of this case, Fractal really took it to heart to get the ERA 2 right. Is it perfect, nah, but is it good for the size. Absolutely.

I purchased this case for its size to fit along side my home entertainment system in my living room. It fit perfectly on top of my receiver which it later replaced with a Bose surround sound speaker system. I have an LG Blu-ray player installed also. I'm saving on my electric bill now not using my 7 amp receiver and get the same quality sound. The case has easy access to everything so it's easy to upgrade your system parts when needed. It has lots of air flow to keep everything cool. The 2 front HD bays make changing your drives easy.

~ Great looking case. Seems like Fractal's designers know what they are going for and keep producing stylish cases. ~ Lots of room for both components and cable management. ~ Each HDD drive tray can fit both one 3.5" HDD and one 2.5". So, possible to have two 3.5" HDDs and four 2.5" SSDs hidden in the back with the two included type D HDD trays and one type D SSD tray. (You can even buy one more of each tray and get another three 2.5" and one 3.5" drive in there for a total of 7 2.5" drives and 3 3.5" drives [If you can find them in-stock anywhere]). ~ Included fans are fairly decent for RGB fans. Not great, not horrible. ~ RGB controller is nice for quick RGB customization. ~ Air flow is great. ~ Room for numerous different radiator options both on the top and front. ~ Great instruction manual, has all the info you need to plan your build. ~ Dust filters are always nice. ~ Crazy amount of different colours and configurations available on the market. ~ Option for optical drive is also nice to have. Love the use of the front compartment with the little storage box. Helped with cable management too.

Excellent Quality / Build Room / Excellent Layout / Well Thought Out Case

- Great value for the price point. - Nice, simple-but-stylish aesthetics, with a good multi-140mm fan supported airflow design. - Dust filters in all the right places (full front/top/bottom & for the vented sides next to PSU). - The optional LCD screen lower side panel kit is a cool accessory w/some good utility. - Supports *select* rear-connector motherboard installations, BUT only in the full ATX form factor size. - Larger & more spacious than expected for a mid-tower class ATX case - in a good way.

Good solid case. Cable management was fairly easy to work with the only issue I had was trying to hide the wires from the fans in the front to the motherboard. In the end I just decided to pull them straight across. It's been a while since I've purchased a new case. But given the price point of this one compared to others on the market I'm not sure why you pick a more expensive case when this one does the job just as well. I like that it comes with black screws and hardware that makes it nice. A few extras would have been helpful but there was just enough to get the job done. Received the case without scratches or dings. Well protected in it's box. I really like the color, it's one you don't see too often.

Just look at it ! Nice and clean for black and gunmetal build. Great layout for cable management with plenty of space for components. Decent airflow to keep things cool. Pretty sturdy too.
