Top notch performance for a spinning disk drive Built a massive 60TB array in just a couple days through USB 3.0 (that's pretty good) These don't seem to be the green drives that can corrupt RAID arrays They do power down by my RAID enclosure's instructions, but power up quickly when commanded to do so One bad drive out of five, but replaced by Newegg with a good one one
A storage bargain

Works like it is supposed to work.
This drive is an absolute beast *i would dare say extremely fast transfers and even between big files of multiple movies or a discography of song and for fun drop it all on the phone for later, maybe 10 minutes but definitely less if anything. Could not ask or say more beaides i plan to but a bigger one of this same brand because of my confidence in there product, not bad pricing but i did but refurbished for that lower pricing.
I've been looking for a dependable, fast, larger cache drive to take over the main duties of my Samsung HD103SJ (pre-Seagate). The WD drive is faster, but will it be dependable, that's the question? I believe it will. I got it for $64.99. Couple that with the 5 year warranty and that's a very good deal.
I love the barracuda drive. I have used these consistently for years. They last. Fast, high capicty, just the right size and price for my needs. Very good drives.
- Was easy to install, format and is quiet enough for me desktop, similar sound level to many WD HDD's I've used in the past decades. - A great value ($219-$249 price range) for 16TB of data storage (14.5TB after Windows 10 Formatting). - I only go with new not renewed hard drives.
