This hub is a powered hub and has great speeds. Seven ports is a nice feature. <br>I tested a 13 gig file transfer with my Transcend USB 30 external drive.<br>Download rate was approximately 106MB/s swinging in between 97 and 109 MB/s.<br>Took two minutes and ten seconds. Power switch for power saving.<br>I’m pleased with this unit and seven ports are more than enough.<br>Nice slim layout and great looking too as far as hubs go that is.
