corsair has used yet another fan for this unit. however the same model i assume would not change by much on a yearly basis. there are only dc power outputs and no connections with usb or whatever. i had no problems with the provided power cables. 80 plus gold is good enough with higher efficiency ratings making very little difference. yet it does very good for 80 plus gold range. rmx power supplies have a modern internal design as seen in the pictures. It conforms to industry trends.

Comes with by far enough slots for whatever you would need, is a good size and stays fairly cool, Fits well in my Micro-ATX case

The quality of the power supply is excellent. Cables are of great quality and there are more than enough cables to support most systems.

I got 2 of these 1200w PSU's as my EVGA 1000w+ PSU was finally kicking the bucket after 7 years and started giving me huge power spikes and caused blue screens and automatic power off crashes. With these new PSU's everythings so far so good. I have been using them now for about 2 weeks or so and they are powering everything as needed and I am not longer getting power lags or power spikes or crashes vs my older PSU. The big plus is that these have the new power plug requirement for the new Nvidia GPU's. If you are in need of a new PSU I highly recommend giving NZXT a shot specially at this price point before they sell out or the prices go up.

-Comes with plenty of cables that were long enough to work with my full size/workstation size case. I was able to use 4 individual gpu cables to power my dual video cards. -The box says 10 year warranty. -Looking into the Power Supply i see a mix of electrolytic (Corsair says 105C rated) and solid state capacitors. -Fan stays off and quiet until needed. -The sytem i put this Power Supply in had a Corsair 850 watt PS that ran warm under load. This 1200 watt ran nice and cool under load. -Voltage readings under load were steady; 5V= 5.056V, 12V= 12.033V.
