Its good, it does its job and gives power. Fully modular and does its job well. Wires are flexible. The colors look nice as well. What more can you ask.

The CORSAIR RM850 PSU has a black exterior and has no LED lights. The full modular PSU lets one utilize minimal cabling (i.e. ATX 24 pin for motherboard, 8 pin EPS for CPU). The remaining connections can be used as needed, up to 6 PCIe and 12 SATA, which is enough for most scenarios. The connectors click firmly. Installation was simple. The 80 Plus gold certified means this will be 87% efficient at loads from 20-100%.

I sent it back because I had an ATX case and it had no bracket but that's pretty normal and I should known better. That being said the quality of the build and packaging it was outstanding.

So far this seems to be a great, stable power supply. The key part is the yellow tip around the 12v power supply which can help ensure you are fully seated into the graphics card for a secure connection. With the amount of issues these connectors are experiencing this is an update all cable makers should be implementing.

Easy installation, comes with a 12vhpwr cable for the new RTX 4000 cards, so the cable adapter that comes with the cards for non-ATX 3.0 units isn't needed. This cord is better quality with braided casing.

VERY WELL packaged / protected in the box. For a 1kW output, this PSU is unbelievably compact. Hybrid mode allows fanless operation till about 40% load. That is about 400 Watts and no sound... Just make your case has good ventilation! Quite when the fan runs. 10 year warranty. Has all the cables I needed for a power-hungry {MB+CPU}, an RX7900XTX and a few HDDs. Includes a PSU tester, which I did not use, since my MB status lights will immediately show "power on", the moment the 24-pin is attached to the MB and the PSU is turned on...

The smaller Type 5 connections are nice, and the end-to-end Type 5 GPU power cable was awesome for a new build, since my card is also Type 5. No need to use an adapter.
