Awesome overall AP...easy setup using built in controller and over a cell phone (didn't try the app, which maybe even easier), easy install, and best of all fast and reliable! Replaced a Unifi AP that gave me trouble constantly, unbeliveable difference. Had 3 tvs streaming HD and downloading apps to my phone simultaneously and w/o issue!

Much better 5ghz and 2.4ghz range than ISP provided solutions. Plugged into network, TP link controller adopted it in less that 2min. Mesh and load balance work good with less than 40 clients.

I was intimidated by the sophistication of the TP-Link Omada WiFi infrastructure. Instead, this unit came configured out-of-the-box as a single access point bridging its WiFi network to the wired LAN. There was no complexity and no port forwarding for external access. I used the TP-Link TL-SF1005P PoE switch to power it and the port priority feature of the switch.
