If I could give zero star, or a minus rating, I would. I've been using Newegg for years. My shipping address has always been a PO Box since Canada Post does not deliver to my street address and they gave me a PO Box for free. When I order stuff, I always put in this PO Box number unless I know they're using a courier. This PO Box address has been my default shipping address at Newegg since day one. But when I ordered this item from this merchant, the smartasss website did not let me use a PO Box address. I was trying to put my street address in, and put POBxxx on the second address line. That was still rejected. I thought ok, they are using a courier. So I just put my street address in and assume they would use a courier, as in the cases of other retailers. But lo and behold, they used Canada Post! I emailed them and they were so arrogant saying my shipping address was put in wrongly, if the item is shipped back to the sender because they can't reach me, I would lose the shipping charge. It wasn't my fault that they did not take my PO Box address as the shipping address. My street address was not an incorrect address but they did not use a proper carrier to deliver. So I was going to file a credit card chargeback should the item not go to me. The saving grace is that I am very well known in town at the post office and I talked to the guy there. Before they returned to sender, they put it in my PO Box for me as a courtesy. I shouldn't have to do this but I just didn't want to have to spend time explaining to my card company and request a chargeback. But after this incident, I am not going to use this merchant any more. Their communications were arrogant and unhelpful. This is not the way you treat your customers.
