Most Critical Review

Mostly good, a little glitchy

ORICO 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra-Slim Data USB Hub with 0.5ft Extended Cable for Windows,XP, Vista ,Windows, Linux and Mac Desktop or Laptop -Black
ORICO 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra-Slim Data USB Hub with 0.5ft Extended Cable for Windows,XP, Vista ,Windows, Linux and Mac Desktop or Laptop -Black

Overall Review: I've had this hub for a little under a year now. It's mostly pretty good and still works. The only problem is that it glitches and disconnects/reconnects from the computer a number of times every day. You wouldn't even notice except that if you're typing or moving the mouse, it will freeze for a moment before continuing again. I find it annoying; I imagine if a hard core gamer had their mouse connected through this hub they wouldn't toss it in the trash.

Deceptive: advertises all products as "new, factory sealed", but I got a used printer

The seller claims right in their profile: "All of our products are brand new and factory sealed with a warranty (either from us or the manufacturer or both) or your money back." However, I bought a Lexmark colour laser printer from them, and I received an obviously-used unit. Lexmark's outer box is of the type that isn't taped shut; there are plastic bits that hold the top to the base of the box, and these can be removed and replaced without leaving any marks. But the real evidence of this being a used unit was inside. The printer was not in a plastic bag inside the box. The toner cartridges, which should be supplied in sealed foil bags, had been removed and installed in the printer, and were still installed when it was shipped -- so there was toner loose inside the printer. The various doors and such on printers are normally held in place with tape from the factory, to prevent them flapping around and breaking, but there was nothing holding them together on my unit. None of the normally-included extra bits - warranty card, quick setup guide, driver CD, etc - were included. So: seller advertises products as new, but ships used products. That's deceptive and unacceptable.
