Great flexibility and options. Excellent speed.
Pros: - Improves speed over other popular household routers. - SFP WAN connection that works well. - Reliability - has not been rebooted in weeks and is still functioning well. - Flexible configuration options. - VPN capability. - VLAN capability. - Works directly with Bell GPON fibre connection. - Small size and does not use much electricity. - Extensive firewall settings.
Cons: - No cons. I cannot think of how this router could be improved.
Overall Review: I would buy this product again. It’s a more advanced router where knowledge of the internet protocol is needed. It’s not for someone who does not care to spend time learning how to configure a router. It does not work out of the box. Setup is required and you need to know what you are doing.
The shipping was fast but the quality of the product is low
I believe this is a good seller. The problem is not with the seller. It is with the quality of the keyboard. I didnt bother going through the hassle of contacting the seller but the power button on this keyboard is malfunctioning. It sticks constantly. Sometimes its hard to get it off. Or you push the power button down to turn it on and it sticks down. I can use my finger nails to loosen it so it pops back up but its not good quality at all.
Fan has wrong number of wires
I ordered a computer fan from this vendor using the model number from the old computer fan. Looking at the photo on Newegg, the fan has 2 wires with a specific plug. Exactly like the old fan that I removed from my computer. After waiting several days for this to come from China it arrived with 3 wires instead of 2 and a completely different connector. I cannot use it. The model number is correct on the fan but thats not the connection that this model number has and its not the connection shown in the photos either. What they sent me looks like some cheap knock off that doesnt even have the correct connector. I would not trust ordering from this vendor/merchant.
