Warm tips:
This pH meter can not used for measuring concentrated acid or alkali solution. Otherwise, its accuracy and service life will be affected.
It is normal that the pH reading appears irregular jumps after the meter is turned on. This is because the probe will detect the pH value of the air or the residual solution on the surface of the sensitive bulb.
It is normal for readings to fluctuate up and down during the test. Do remember to wait until the reading stabilizes after placing the probe in the solution. Never take a reading immediately.
Remember to rinse the probe with distilled water or pure water for 5-10 seconds after use, and dry it before next measurement. Otherwise, the results will be inaccurate.
Sensitive bulbs are made of very fragile glass. Do not touch with hands or other hard objects, and do not use this pH meter to test solutions above 50 degrees Celsius.
The value will be shown slowly and not stable if the electrode was placed and exposed to air for a long time. Remember to immerse the electrode into water for few hours and re-calibrate the meter before next use.
