Features:
1) The end wedge resists damage from the timing chain. And the rod allows the wedge to get deep enough. With this timing chain tool, it makes effortless camshaft or cam phaser changes on your vehicle without losing chain tension and removing the timing cover.
2) During doing camshaft or cam phaser work, push down on this tool and wiggle it as deep as possible, then pull up a little (the chain will come up with the tool). Thus, you have extra wiggle room for removing phaser.
3) These permanent repair kits will change the phaser to a solid hub design and install a new tune into the vehicles computer to get it out of the 'limp' mode and return it to normal operations. Simple in design, requiring no special tools which makes it even easier saving you hours of time.
4) The lockouts are precision machined to fit in one section better than the rest. The lockout should be installed into the void that has the tightest fit. Push the lockout block fully down into the phaser, and then ending noises and by passing the entire problem.
