    FDR

    The FDR InfiniBand technology changes from 8b/10b encoding to a more efficient 64/66 encoding while increasing the signal transmission rate to 14Gb/s on each channel. By using the Mellanox FDR-10, the Mellanox end-to-end system can also leverage the efficiency of 64/66 encoding, allowing FDR-10 to support 20% more bandwidth than QDRS using the same cable/connector designed for 40GbE.

    Built using Mellanox's latest SwitchX® InfiniBand switch equipment, the SX6025 provides up to 36 56Gb/s full bidirectional bandwidth ports. These freestanding switches are ideal for overhead leaf node connections and for building small to very large clusters.
