10 Seconds PLP Prevents Write Data Loss
Abnormal power failure will greatly increase the probability of SSD failure. The fault may cause the loss of the stored files, and the serious case may cause the loss of the disk partition or disk damage. The Power Loss Protection of DOCKCASE Smart SSD Enclosure provides around 10 seconds of writing time after a power failure (the actual time will be affected by the working state and power consumption of the SSD), no data loss, and no disk damage.

Please Note: When do you need to use a USB-C port instead of a USB-A port?

Since the maximum output power of the USB-A interface standard is 7.5W (5V 1.5A ), some SSDs with power exceeding 7W ( 3.3V 2.12A ) may encounter performance problems or fail to work normally when using the USB-A port. In this case, it needs to be used with a USB-C interface that supports a maximum output power of 15W.

You can rotate the screen direction of the Enclosure by double-clicking the D-Key.

Press and hold the D-Key to display About Me on the display of this product and move to the interface.

Short press D-Key to switch control options.

Press D-Key for 3 seconds to apply / change the options on the right side of the cursor.

Note: If you do not operate within 10 seconds, you will automatically return to the homepage. The revised data will take effect after reconnecting.

Step 2: Insert the SSD into the PCB board at a 30 degree angle.
Step 3: Tighten the SSD using screws.
Step 4: Tighten the screw on the back cover.
