The Honeywell MS7120 Orbit barcode reader is black, can be held in the hand or set on a stand, produces laser light in an omnidirectional pattern, and can be used to scan linear, one-dimensional (1D) barcodes at different angles and decode them. The barcode scanner is small enough to be held in the hand. A stand enables the barcode reader to be used in a fixed position. A 650-nanometer (nm), 900 milliwatt (mW) laser produces 20 lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes at different angles and at a speed of up to 1, 120 scans per second.
The head of the barcode reader tilts up to 30 degrees to accommodate different objects and workstation setups. The barcode reader's USB cable can be plugged into the USB port of a computer or another host system (sold separately) to transmit barcode data. A configuration utility allows the firmware to be updated as needed to take advantage of new improvements or features. This product is compatible with OPOS (OLE for Retail POS) and JavaPOS standards used in point-of-sale (POS) systems. It weighs 410 g ( 14.5 oz. ) and measures 102 x 105 x 150 mm/4 x 4.1 x 5.9 inches (W x D x H).
(W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point. )Honeywell manufactures products, materials, and technologies used in aerospace, transportation, and automation and control systems.
