The MG09 is a 7200 RPM HDD based on Conventional Magnetic Recording (CMR) in standard 3.5" form factor aimed at cloud storage and data center. It delivers 2TB density per disk using Toshiba’s innovative Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording (FC-MAMR) technology, and packs up to 9 disks in Helium-sealed enclosure to achieve up to 18 TB capacity in a single drive. Combining that capacity density and lower operational power profile, Toshiba MG09 gives an uplift to your data storage infrastructure.
