    Mount Consoles Forward in Server Racks for Easy Access

    Equipment protruding from the front of a rack can prevent a console or console KVM switch below it from fully opening. With Tripp Lite’s B018-000-1P5 SmartRack® Extension Brackets, you can mount your console or console KVM switch 1.5 inches forward of the rack’s vertical rails, allowing the console to fully open for clear viewing of the display.

    Install in Standard Racks and Rack Enclosures

    The B018-000-1P5 occupies 1U of rack space and attaches to the vertical mounting rails of EIA-standard 19-inch racks and rack enclosures. All mounting hardware is included. After the brackets are attached, you can mount your console or console KVM switch to the brackets. The brackets are made of cold-rolled steel with a black powder-coated finish to match most server racks.
