The B022-U16-IP takes up just 1U of rack space in a standard 19 in.-wide rack and works with all major operating systems.

    Access Servers from Anywhere in the World

    Built-in IP access allows you to control computers via LAN, WAN or the Internet. Just log on to a Web browser using the Windows or Java-based browser client and navigate the user-friendly interface in English, Spanish, French, German or Japanese. You can also access the KVM Switch without a browser. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and other functions necessary for managing a high-density data center.  


    Supports Multiple Platforms and Operating Systems

    The B022-U16-IP supports both PS/2 and USB connections using a P778-Series combo cable kit (a combo cable kit is required for each connected computer; two combo kits are included with the switch). Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated. Connect multiple versions of multiple platforms in any combination, including Windows® and Linux operating systems.

    Simplifies IT Tasks

    The advanced on-screen display (OSD) supports high-definition video up to 2048 x 1536 at the local console and up to 1600 x 1200 with 24-bit color depth at the remote console. This KVM Switch allows you to select a connected computer using on-console pushbuttons, keyboard hotkey commands or the OSD. The auto-scan mode automatically sequences through all active ports accessible to the user, and panel array mode lets you monitor multiple ports at the same time. To reduce the amount of data traveling over the network, you can view remote sessions in black and white. This switch supports both IPv4 and IPv6, as well as Link Local IPv6 Address and Stateless Auto Configuration protocol.

    The B022-U16-IP supports RADIUS and LDAP/S remote authentication. Advanced encryption technologies such as 128-bit SSL, 128-bit RC4, 1024-bit RSA, 56-bit DES, 256-bit AES and 168-bit 3DES keep your important data secure. The B022-U16-IP lets you create up to 64 user accounts with 3 levels of password protection (administrator, user and select) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers. IP remote access is further protected with security features, including password protection, advanced 128-bit SSL and HTTPS encryption, bandwidth-optimized video and detailed activity logging.
