    Tripp Lite’s T100-001-TST RJ11/RJ12/RJ45 Wire Crimper lets you create your own network or telecom cables and test them before installation, rather than wait for a more expensive custom cable to arrive. By cutting, stripping and testing your cables, including Cat3, Cat5e and Cat6 cables, you can decide how long they should be and which plugs should be attached. This crimping tool is ideal for cable installers who want to save time and money when tackling large-scale projects.

    This crimper cuts and strips flat modular and round LAN cables up to 12 millimeters in diameter easily and efficiently. The multifunctional tool also terminates 4-wire RJ11 (4P4C), 6-wire RJ12 (6P6C) and 8-wire RJ45 (8P8C) modular plug types. Just insert the wired plug into the appropriate slot, and squeeze the ergonomic non-slip handles to crimp.

    Tests and Debugs Newly Crimped Cable and Existing In-Wall Installations

    A built-in UTP/STP tester helps you quickly and accurately identify wiring faults in uninstalled or already installed LAN cabling up to 600 feet (183 meters). LEDs indicate whether your cable has a short circuit, open circuit, miswire, reverse wiring or split pairs, so you can pinpoint the specific problem and its location. The tester also cycles through cable pairs, so you can identify whether any have a wiring fault. By testing the cables before installing them, you can avoid potentially costly and time-consuming errors later.

    Detachable Remote Unit Convenient for Room-to-Room Testing

    The remote testing unit detaches from the ergonomically designed handle for easy inspection of installed cables almost anywhere. When testing is complete, snap the remote unit into the base of the handle for simple storage and transport. The tester requires one 6V A544 1/2AA battery or four LR44 button cell batteries (not included).
