AUBEAMTO is a PCIE X1 interface to 4-Ports superspeed 5Gbps USB 3.0 expansion card. It is based on 1X RENESAS UPD720201 USB 3.0 host controller, will compatible with ARM, AMD, and Intel hardware platforms Desktop PCs. The 4X added-on USB-A ports will share 5Gbps total bandwidth. It is built in AUBEAMTO Self-Powered Technology, no need to plug any additional power cables from Desktop PCs power supply unit. Allow each USB 3.0 ports get 5V/2A 10W max (5V/8A 40W in total) power supply from motherboard. It is mainly used on Desktop PCs, Working Stations, and NAS Data Centers for high-power consumptiom USB 3.0 devices which including indusrial cameras, VR-Systems, USB 3.0 NVME enclosures, live broadcast devices, USB 3.0 SSD/HDD enclusures, USB 3.0 video adapters and USB 3.0 universal docking stations.
It will also compatible with normal USB-A interface devices such as USB keyboard, USB mice, USB speakers, USB KVM switch, USB HUB, USB flash drive, printers, game pad, smart phone, tablet and more.
What is AUBEAMTO Self-Powered Technology?
AUBEAMTO Self-Powered Technology is a new solution to add more power supply on USB 3.0 expansion cards. The old version PCI Express USB 3.0 cards need to plug power cables from Desktop PC's power supply unit. Even added on additional power, sometime it still lacks power when running few high power-consuming devices simultaneously such as USB HDD/SSD enclosures and USB NVME enclosures. PCI Express slot can provide 75W max power almost 12V/6.25A for PCIE devices. AUBEAMTO add 4X voltage transformer on USB 3.0 card will pick up 12V/3.5A power and convert to 5V/8A 40W. Each USB 3.0 port will get 5V/2A 10W max power supply for USB 3.0 devices.
