Condition:
Refurbished,
Previously Used Through our refurbishment process, we test the entire computer for full functionality including memory, hard drive, and keyboard tests. Computer may show slight signs of wear but the overall condition is considered Good/Great. We also inspect the LCD screen for signs of scratches or dead pixels and replace screens that have defects. In some cases a protective vinyl is applied to not only cover previous scratches and dings, but to give the unit a newer looking appearance.
Windows and Additional Software Our Microsoft Registered Refurbisher (MRR) tech team completely wipes each machine of all traces of previous data then loads a fresh activated and updated copy of Microsoft Windows. All computers come pre-installed with the following programs for your convenience. Firefox, VLC, Java, Microsoft Security Essentials, Libre Office, Acrobat Reader, Flash and 7-Zip.
Recovery Information Microsoft has changed their policies over the past few years concerning recovery media. Through the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher program, recovery discs are no longer provided with the licenses (COAs). Recovery media can be created from any Windows 10 machine using the Media Creation Tool. This is a free download from Microsoft that allows you to make a bootable DVD or USB device that can be used to fully recover the operating system.
