This DC fan can provide over 240 cubic feet of air out of a traditional design that has been highly refined over the years. The typical high pitched whine that accompanies most other directional fin fans has been minimized to near non-existence on this fan. It has an amazing, near 4:1 airflow to noise ratio, and yields 6.823 cubic meter of air per minute. Weighing at a hefty 0.73 pound, this premium grade cooling fan’s life expectance is 70,000 hours (or almost 24 years if you operate the fan 8 hours a day) at 40 degree C with 15 - 65% RH, all thanks for industrial grade materials plus top notched, high quality dual ball bearing. This fan also features Over Current Shut Down function when rotor is locked during operation, thus effectively protects overheating and damaging of the fan. Operating temperature is -10 - +70 degree C with 5 - 90% RH. This fan has 3 wires lead with speed sensor output and a standard 3 pin fan connector. A fan cable adapter (3 pin to Molex 4 pin) is included so you can power the fan via a common computer power supply, as most motherboards may not supply enough power via the standard 3 pin fan headers (please refer to the motherboard user guide or contact the motherboard manufacturer for more details if you have any questions). You can also power this fan by a fan controller which can effectively quiet down the noise level, but please make sure the fan controller can provide enough power (29W, or 38.88W at maximum) for the fan. |
