It has both PWM and speed monitor output wire. There is 190 CFM of air flow on tap when you need it, or 5.38 cubic meter per minute. A very important feature is directional fin design which forces air to flow exactly where it's needed and achieve minimum noise under high airflow and strong air pressure. Life expectance is 70,000 hours (or almost 16 years if you operate the fan 12 hours a day) at 40 Degree C with 15 - 65% RH, all thanks for industrial grade materials plus top notched, high quality dual ball bearing. Suitable applications include but are not limited to industrial computer systems or servers where noise is not the primary concern. This fan has PWM output so the computer can intelligently balance between noise level and cooling power based on PWM signal control on fan speed. You can also control fan speed and noise level by using a fan controller (sold separately, most fan controllers use the standard 3-pin header for connecting to cooling fans, and you will need a PWM to 3-pin cable adapter if you like to connect this cooling fan to a common fan controller). Operating temperature is -10 - +60 Degree C with 5 - 90% RH. Protection includes Over Current Shut-Down Protection when rotor is locked, and Polarity Protection which can withstand reverse connection on positive and negative leads. Also, this fan will start at low speed and reach full speed in about 10 seconds. This fan does not contain ozone depleting substances such as PBBs, PBBOs, CDCs, PBBEs, PBDPEs and HCFCs. Net weight is about 13 oz. This fan has 4 wires lead with PWM and fan speed output wire and a common PWM 4 pin fan connector, and wire lead is approximately 12 inches long. |
