Noctua NH-U9 DX-4677, Premium CPU Cooler for Intel Xeon LGA4677 (Brown)

The NH-U9 DX-4677 features a larger, custom-designed contact surface for LGA4677 platforms. Based on the proven, 92mm size NH-U9 heatsink and equipped with two of Noctuas award-winning, PWM controlled NF-A9 92mm fans (high-efficiency 2500rpm version), it combines strong performance with excellent compatibility for 4U systems and other space-restricted applications. The NH-U9s direction of airflow is perpendicular to the long axis of the LGA4677 socket, so it is ideal for systems where the exhaust fans of the chassis are in this direction.

For systems that require the airflow to go parallel to the long axis of the socket, please choose the NH-D9 DX-4677 4U. Topped off with the professional SecuFirm2 mounting system and pre-applied NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-U9 DX-4677 forms a complete premium quality package for quietly cooling LGA4677 based Xeon workstations and servers. Please note that the NH-U9 DX-4677 is a dedicated version for the Intel LGA4677 socket. Due to its customised larger base, it cannot be used on smaller sockets and is incompatible with Noctuas mounting kits for these sockets. Please also note that installing an LGA4677 processor and heatsink requires a plastic CPU carrier frame. These carrier frames are included with boxed retail CPUs and available separately via Intel sales partners for tray type CPUs. As different CPUs require different carrier frame types (E1A, E1B or E1C), please make sure to purchase the correct carrier frame for tray type CPUs.
