For rooms prone to humidity such as bathrooms, laundry rooms and hot tubs, moisture can cause speaker parts to rust and even stop working after only a few months. OSD Audio's WRS Series of In-Ceiling Speakers is specifically designed for these areas so you can relax in the tub and enjoy beautiful sound. These moisture-resistant speakers have powder-coated grilles and specially treated internal components that withstand humidity and can even be used outside in covered porches. The WRS Series includes polypropylene woofers with santoprene surround and moisture-resistant tweeters for excellent high and low notes; and because bathrooms and laundry rooms are often small, the WRS Series includes models with dual voice coils so you can enjoy stereo sound from only one speaker!
This powerful single speaker is a great way to add sound in areas where traditional in-door speakers wouldn't last. The dual voice coil design provides stereo sound within one speaker, making it a perfect choice for rooms that can't accommodate two speakers. The grill is powder coated to prevent rusting in high moisture areas like bathrooms, laundry rooms and covered porches. In addition, the 8" polypropylene woofer, dual 1" polycarbonate tweeter system and 150W power handling work together to deliver beautiful sound.
For a retrofit installation, no construction bracket is needed.
